ARE YOU READY FOR A NEW BEGINNING?

Every end is a “New Beginning” with Jesus Christ!

Our sin separates Us from God

First, you must recognize that the Bible says that we were all born
into sin through Adam and Eve sinning in the Garden of Eden.
Because of our sin we are separated from God. Therefore, man is in
need of salvation. Sin destroys our relationship with God. Jesus
was tempted in all ways yet without sin.

“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23

“What then? Are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have
before proved both Jews and Gentiles, they are all under sin.”

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, Not one.”
Romans 3:9, 10

“For we have not an high priest which can not be touched with the
feelings of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we
are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15

The Wages of Sin is Death

Second, you must realize that because of our sin you owe a debt,
the payment for our sin is death.

“For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23 Jesus is the Way

Third, you must realize that Jesus Christ, God’s perfect sacrifice,
has already paid our sin debt. When Jesus died on the cross, He
paid the price for us all and bridged the gap that separated us from
God. Jesus became our substitute.

“But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

“For He made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin that we might
become the righteousness of God in him.”
II Corinthians 5:21

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son,whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but shall have
everlasting life.” John 3:16

Receive Jesus Christ into your life

Fourth, you must receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ as your
Lord and personal Savior and accept what He did for you on the
cross.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John
1:12

“That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shall believe in thine heart God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shall be saved.” Romans 10:9

How to Pray

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and I am in need of your forgiveness. I
believe that You died for my sins on the tree. I turn away from my
sins. I invite you to come into my heart and my life. I confess with
my mouth the Lord Jesus and I believe in my heart that God
raised you from the dead on the third day. I receive you right now
as my Lord, Savior and Master, in Jesus Name Amen.

Congratulations, you have started a new chapter in your life!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
II Corinthians 5:17

Christian’s Prayer of Repentance

Repent

Honestly and openly admit your wrong that you committed.
In your heart commit to making a 180 degree turn from your
ways.

“For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before
me.” Psalms 51:3

“If my people which are called by my name, will humble
themselves, and pray, and seek my face, turn from their wicked
ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and
will heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14

Receive your forgiveness

You must receive your forgiveness by faith; your forgiveness is
not based on feelings but the Word of God.

You must also learn how to forgive yourself.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9

“I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own
sake, and will not remember thy sins.”

“Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou that
thou mayest be justified.” Isaiah 43:25, 26
Move Forward

You must forget the past and press forward, get over it!
Don’t allow your past to destroy your future, you can’t do anything
about the past but you can do a whole lot about your future.

“Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth
unto those things which are before.” Philippians 3:13b

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider things of
old.” Isaiah 43:18

Prayer of Restoration

Dear Lord Jesus,

I come to you today asking for your forgiveness, I do realize that
sin breaks my fellowship with you. Lord you said in your Word, “If
any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ
the righteous.” I acknowledge my sin before you today (Confess
whatever it might be), You also said “If we confess our sins, you
are faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness. So therefore, I believe I receive my forgiveness
right now in Jesus name, Amen.

Congratulations, You are on your way to a fresh start.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous.” I John 2:1
