Kevin E. Wright

family_108Kevin is a 1983 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma that was founded by Kenneth E. Hagin.  Upon graduating from Bible School Kevin went back to his home church (Word of Faith Christian Center) to serve as Youth Pastor in 1984. He served faithfully in that capacity for over 15 years. God exalted Kevin to pastor the “First” of many to be satellite churches’ that Bishop Butler would plant in the USA and Internationally.

Kevin served successfully and faithfully in Saginaw, Michigan for two years (1991 – 1993) until he was brought back to the headquarter church to serve as “Senior Assistant Pastor” to Word of Faith International Christian Center.

Kevin was determined to serve wherever he was planted. In 1995 he answered the call to pastor WOFCC Jackson, Mississippi. Kevin served faithfully there for 15 years growing the church to over 2500 members with numerous outreaches touching the State of Mississippi as well as partnering with Ikaya Labantu Shelter in Cape Town, South Africa to support an orphanage with close to 100 children. Many of which were AIDS and HIV victims.

Over a 15-year period, Kevin established five churches within Mississippi, which include (Vicksburg, Yazoo, Meridian, Hattiesburg and South haven).   In 2004, Kevin was ordained with the office of a “Bishop” as a result of his faithful and devoted service to the lord.

In 2010, Kevin’s tenure with WOFCC concluded and New Beginnings Ministries was birthed forth.

In 2011, he founded New Beginnings Teaching Center and in 2012, he established New Beginnings Christian Life Center in Flowood, Mississippi where he presently presides as pastor.

The Lord continues to do great things in the life and ministry of Kevin Wright.

Kevin believes that every person deserves a “Fresh Start” in life no matter his or her economical status or position in life.

Kevin E. Wright and his lovely wife Leslie D. Wright are the proud parents of five children: Joshua, Stephen, Melissa (LaMarcus), Daniel and Micah and two grandchildren:   Julius and Beaux
